The original staircase design to this newly purchased home in Wilmslow, Cheshire had become dated. The solution was a new contemporary staircase design. The customer wanted to create a great first impression to their large entrance area.
Before
The proposed staircase refurbishment was to fully replace the existing newel posts with solid oak replacements, also the handrails, base-rails & bottom curtail step were to be replaced. In addition oak veneered board would be applied to the strings and all other exposed parts of the staircase.
Their choice of in-line glass works perfectly in this space, maximising any available natural light.
