Old stair panelling removed - oak and glass transformation
Below is an example of how an ordinary dated staircase in Great Moor, Stockport was completely transformed.
The customer's initial idea was to create a staircase that would be modern, high quality and maintenance free. He was looking for something completely different but at the same time had to be inkeeping with his newely renovated home. After viewing several options he decided to overlay the existing treads with solid oak together with contrasting grey. All other stair components were to be replaced and stained the same as the treads.
Glass was to be introduced in the new design. The toughened glass was to be set in-line (without brackets).
The difference this staircase renovation has made is amazing. The new staircase is modern, high quality and maintenance free, meeting the customer's original design requirements perfectly.
