A dated staircase design fully renovated using solid oak and toughened glass.

We had the recent pleasure of transforming this dated staircase. The recently completed project was located in the Timperley / Sale area. The customer wanted a change from having stair carpet, a complete oak and glass staircase was the required design. Overlaying the existing treads without replacing the main structure of the staircase seemed a much simpler solution than having to replace the entire staircase. Contemporary solid oak treads, newel posts, handrails and base-rails combined with toughened clear glass was the customers choice of design.

All of our solid oak stair components were pre-finished with a clear lacquer before the instalation. The new step and treads were finished in a highly durable coating that is much tougher than regular lacquer and provides additional grip

The completed photos were taken on the day of practical completion, as you can see their is no further building work required, all floors and carpets were fully protected over the 3 days
